This Oceangram, written in tribute to Destiny Ann Norton, found its way back to the original sender, a close friend of the family, after gathering condolences and sympathy from Oceangrammers along the way. She provided it to me to post here in remembrance of this young girl.

In memory of Destiny Ann Norton, 5 years old. Born Nov. 30, 2000;
abducted and murdered by a neighbor in Salt Lake City, Utah on July
16. 2006. She was a happy and caring little girl and deserves to be
remembered.

the people who have added their comments - they are all kind and
gentle ones. I can say thank you to those who get this bottle from
now on, however. So thank you for your sincere additions and
even more for sending this on so that others will be aware of this
little girl whose life was so brief but so sweet. Salt Lake City,
